Am I part of the cure? Or am I part of the disease?

I now know I will be part of the cure...

As far as my future goes, I used to be so confused. Unlike my friends, who basically all have "5 year plans"(medical school, pharmacy school, business school etc.) I had no idea what the fuck I wanted to do with my life. So I have been praying for about 2years now, asking Jesus to give me guidance in my life. And guess what? Guidance is what I got.

I feel so relieved that I actually have a plan and that I can imagine my life 5 years from now.

Lots of volunteering, internship in L.A, grad school, and then the Peace Corps for 27months.

And speaking of volunterring...I am meeting my aunt's good friend in the next few weeks. She was the director of one of the most successful volunteer organizations in the US and she's traveled the world 5x over. She's befriended and met some amazing people in the process including Princess Diana, Fidel Castro, and Mother Teresa. And she said we have alot to talk about and I cant wait to hear her stories about outreach.

But geez, I am so excited to go to the Peace Corps. I can't wait to help people and explore this crazy, beautiful world and meet the crazy, beautiful folks in it.
