I thought it was 2009...

not 1959.

Racism #1:
This first example is more ignorant than it is racist but...
The other night, I stayed up to 5 a.m. to watch the O'Reilly vs. Sharpton showdown over Michael Jackson.
For some reason, Bill O'Reilly doesn't believe that MJ is an "African-American icon" because he has white kids.

Really Bill?
So I'm guessing Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt aren't great, white actors anymore because they have Asian children and an African child?
He made no sense as usual and I was happy to see Al Sharpton stick up for MJ (even though I don't eff with Sharpton half the time, lol).

Here are O'Reilly's initial statements:

O'Reilly vs. Sharpton

I think Bill is just bitter because MJ is cooler than Elvis. lol

Racism #2:

A disturbing racist email is making the rounds with the subject line, “Obamacare Healthcare is coming soon!” and it is revealing the ugly racist underside of the GOP.

The email contains a photoshopped image of President Obama with a bone through his nose, clothed in full tribal dress.

The email contains the following statement:

“That’s right, folks! Barack Obama will tax your health benefits and then flee with the money to Africa, where he will convert all the tribespeople to Socialism and become their king after developing inhumanly muscular calves.”
---
Michael Steel, please get "your people" cause this is just horrible!

Racism #3:

I saved the most egregious story for last!

More than 60 campers from NE Philly were turned away from swimming at The Valley Swim Club basically because they are negro children.

Here is part of the article:
"I heard this lady, she was like, 'Uh, what are all these black kids doing here?' She's like, 'I'm scared they might do something to my child,'" said camper Dymire Baylor.

The Creative Steps Day Camp paid more than $1900 to The Valley Swim Club. The Valley Swim Club is a private club that advertises open membership. But the campers' first visit to the pool suggested otherwise.

"When the minority children got in the pool all of the Caucasian children immediately exited the pool," Horace Gibson, parent of a day camp child, wrote in an email. "The pool attendants came and told the black children that they did not allow minorities in the club and needed the children to leave immediately."

The next day the club told the camp director that the camp's membership was being suspended and their money would be refunded.

"I said, 'The parents don't want the refund. They want a place for their children to swim,'" camp director Aetha Wright said.

Campers remain unsure why they're no longer welcome.

"They just kicked us out. And we were about to go. Had our swim things and everything," said camper Simer Burwell.

The explanation they got was either dishearteningly honest or poorly worded.

"There was concern that a lot of kids would change the complexion … and the atmosphere of the club," John Duesler, President of The Valley Swim Club said in a statement.
----

This crap is wild.
One of my best friends Brandon went through a similar situation when he was a little midget doing cross country camp in North Carolina.
The black people weren't allowed to swim in the pool so they were forced to swim in a super cold lake which led to a horrible situation.
And this is in the 90s yall!

Man,when is this kinda stuff gonna end?
Let's hope it isn't 3009 (if Jesus isnt back by then).
